Gary "G.O." Owens grew up on the North shore of Oahu surfing Sunset, Pipe, and just about every other spot you can name on the island. G.O. quickly transfered his surfing style and knowlege to the banks of Wallos, Uluwatu, Stoker Hill, and Pearl City pool back in the day when Jay Adams, Wentzle Ruml, T.A., and other Z-Boys first started frequenting the islands and sessioning hard with other local boys like Vince Klyn, Darrin Ho, and host of others. Gary and his "partner-in-crime" Grant "G-Dog" Fukuda have drained more pools than they can even remember let alone count. Their gang, "The Royal Hawaiin Pool Service" has been active for over 15 years, draining and skating pools almost every day. Their slogan: "You don't know us Fool - We just drained your Pool"!
